Oh, BTW, the Imaginary Invalid is opening at Pentacle tomorrow! If anybody wants to go, tell me and we can get tickets the same night! I plan on going several times.
Anyways, for lack of an iPod I found myself singing for the good hour's walk downtown. I found this gorgeous spot under a bridge... all the pretty echoes and the sound of the river made me have to sing water-related songs. Oddly, I forgot about Water Night. Oh well. Whitacre isn't meant for extensive solos.
Met with Isom, Kate, and Caitlin for coffee and review/discussion of SAT math. After awhile I started to get snippy... all the questions they asked were the same ones I'd already figured out.
Walking home, I started with some show tunes. Which of course led to tap dancing on the street. Which led to odd looks. Passing by the library, I couldn't resist but to enter... and a good while later resumed my journey. Which led to a series of peace songs. (Ah, Toby, why did you have to leave Salem? I remember the candles on the bridge at that first vigil so well.) Anyways, I noticed that this marble building had a completely empty garage. I didn't go in, of course, but from the edge of the driveway the high notes echoed marvelously. Shame the cars were right at my back.
That brought me right back to "Never Again." Funny thing, walking up the hill, I saw Caroline walking her dog. I don't think she actually heard me. She might have dissaproved, anyways.
Anyways, I blame the weather. Rather than going to the longer session with Isom, or studying at the library, or studying at home, I wasted/invested the best part of today singing. (I'm not sure which word to choose.)

It has been too long!
